First of all.

I overslept.
I missed school.
I'm a bit sick but that's nothing.

So...

Sorry for missing the SS presentation, really sorry.
Sorry Mr Wong for being unable to pass u the hw today, really sorry.
Sorry for myself for missing school bleah, little bit sorry.

ok done.

So many things to post, so little time.

Nevermind, shall post abt "Amazing Race", hahahahha...

Flag Day
Yay. Overslept. Boarded 853 outside my house at 7:52am.
Reached at 8:05am and collected my can.
Some had already left collecting.
LOL, turns out i wasn't the only one, Benjamin was late too.
Sing Ee, Jie Ming, Benjamin and I went to AMK Central to collect first.
Bumped into various persons and said hello.
Some didn't notice =[
Anyway from there we broke up (lol), Sing Ee and Jie Ming, Ben and me.
We took the MRT to Yishun MRT and started to wander around the neighbourhood.
Ahahahahaha then Ben came up with a crazy idea.
Walk from Yishun to what-who-where
"Just keep on walking!" was his answer.
"Set ah, zhao!" was mine.
Ahahahaha and so we went...

9:10am

We sort of walked around the bus interchange asking for donations.
There were so many tin can holders!!!
Tired of the competition we decided to walk to khatib in search of 'prey' haha.

We encountered several kind poeple who donated generously (2 dollar note!)
but there was this auntie that was blunt and straight to the point.
" I don't have any money, so don't ask me!" in chinese.

Ahahahaha, nothing much here, just kept on walking and talking
and asking for donations. Oh lol, Ben got much more donations than me cos'
he said i looked scary with my hair and specs, so the public will think
i'm some pai kia or something. Lemme ask u something. Where got pai
kia so short one!!!!!! Grr. Took off my specs and began walking again.

We cut through the MRT station and even dared to ask some people on
the mrt premises for donations. They all donated! Kind people live in the
yishun/khatib neighbourhood i tell you. Though of course the rest avoid us like the plague.
There was this couple who was at the bus stop, upon seeing us quickly flagged down
the nearest bus and zhaoed off. I brought Ben to the Bottle Tree Park,
a very very very nice place to walk in and to enjoy Nature. Ahahaha on the way
Ben spotted a very big snake in the bushes but i couldn't spot it in time,
taking out my specs needs time u know. LOL, maybe the snake thought i looked scary and zhaoed off too. hahahahah... Anyway, next time i have a chance i would surely
bring some of my friends over to the park. It's such a nice, breezy place with lotsa fish and ponds...

We managed to pull ourselves away from the Park and
took a right turn, this time Ben says, we are walking
towards Orchid Country Club, then from there walk to Yio Chu Kang.
That's what he said btw.
The route we took later was completely off haha.

Walked past the Yishun Stadium and several HDB flats,
and as usual we kept on walking and talking.
Haha, i wonder why our mouths weren't as tired as our feet
when we reached our last stop, we were like talking non-stop
all the way. Here we talked about our respective classes
and how we 'adapted' to it. You know, that kind.

Walked past the Orchid Park Condo, didn't look like
a condo to me, more like a huge HDB flat. And we passed the
Singapore Orchid Country Club Golf Course, some golf course ahaha.
All we saw on our right were tropical rainforest trees.

The wind started to blow really hard here. Hmm, if we were wearing
skirts i bet we would be like Betty Boob and Marilyn Monroe trying to
hold down our skirts ahaha =p Imagination is a very powerful thing, ain't it?

The wind was as strong as ever and this time there were
4 guys jogging behind us towards who-where-how. We will meet
them some time later though. We spotted several caterpillars
swirling around in the air. You know, those kind with threads attached
to their behinds to the tree branches? Those who hang upside down
near trees? Yeap, they were spinning around like ballerinas and helicopters.
Managed to avoid them due to our superb agility and dexerity.
Remember, no easy task due to the heavy winds hoooooooooooooooo

just changing of topics...
boy, guys talk/gossip more than girls, lah.
though we are less critical and 'bitchy' =p

Passed by the 400+ blocks. Saw 3 wild dogs crossing the road to our side.
A thought popped into my mind.
Me: "What if those 3 dogs start to attack us?"
Ben: " I will run. Very fast!"
Us: " Ahahahahaha..."

Nasty. Saw the remains of a dead turtle.
There was its skull, its base and its shell.
Poor thing, seriously.
I kicked an ant's nest by accident, it was
a bunch of leaves hewn together by them red ants.
Really sorry!

This was when i realised this place was not Orchid
Country Club. LOL. And those joggers earlier jogged back,
this time half-naked. They were gaping at us, maybe because
windering what in the name of are the two of us walking to such
a place. Well we didn't really know either.

Hmm... I remember this place. My family would bring me
here on picnics when i was younger. We would snack on cooked stuff
prepared by mom and her friends would tag along, along with my
dad's. Now, we rarely come here. Nice place though.

LOL.

Ben says that he once saw a komodo dragon here
in the waters and that it would climb onto land and scare
innocent people like us 0_0

We encountered a sign saying: "WARNING
HIGH VOLTAGE CABLES BELOW GROUND".
Ben and i just walked over =p
What a 'shocking' experience lol haha.

Disgusting.
I peeked over the waters and saw what seemed
to look like pink sea cucumbers clinging to the concrete
slabs facing the water. The further we walked the
more numerous they became. Brrrrrrrr.
Goosebumps.
Saw turtles, fishes and other wildlife though.
But no komodo dragons =[

We walked past a swamp and on our right
was St Aerospace Engineering!
Okay, i don't know what it is actually LOL.

Walking...

Discovery!
We stumbled upon an old, abandoned, wartime
bunker! I stopped to take an photo of it and wanted
to go inside when i realised Ben was already ahead of
me walking. He didn't want to go in and neither did i
wanted to explore it all alone. So i ran after him LOL.

I just realised something.
Since the start of the journey Ben has been
saving my life 30+++ times.
Whenever we were walking on the roads Ben
would pull me aside just when a vehicle blazed
past. Thank you!

Hay Market? I don't see any hay around.
Neither do i see any dukes or knights here.
Strange.
Only a few swallows =p

Ben showed me this immense plant structure.
Amazing.
It was a whole community of bamboo plants
growing together, tied together with a massive coil of rope
so that it could only grow upwars but not sideways.
Impressive product of nature and man's doing.

LOL we crossed over the flyover.
By this time our legs were hurting already,
so we looked for the nearest 7-11 to refresh ourselves.
But accordding to Ben his were not, so nvm then.

Where's the prata house!!!!!!!
Cannot find man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We don't want diesel!
We don't want wheelchairs!
We want prata!!!!!

Do aquariums sell fish and chips?
I know Mr Chai does.
Yup, the fish shop beside the school.

12:07pm

Agrh, couldn't take it anymore, so took 88 at the bus stop
opposite The Hiding Place back to AMK Library.
Reached at exactly 12:30pm.
That was when Ben's feet started to hurt while mine already recovered LOL.
Bought drinks with Ben and put back the cans.
Left for home since no one wanted to go out.
Met Lunyi on the way home, went bowling with him.
Looks like i haven't lost my touch eh?
A score of 103... Looks like i can never beat my 'high' score
of 123 hahahaha...

Sunday 25th Feb 2007

Well finished my maths hw, Went bai nian again to Ah Kum's.
Her dog is, well 11 years old, she's now very old, fat and extremely docile already.
And she's called guess what, Munchy!
Munchy the dog!
LOL.
After that we went home, slept and the next day...
Wow, i overslept.
