YES!
Singapore now leading 1-0 at halftime!
YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!
Ahahahahaha...
Roar on Lions!
Though some of us cannot be behind u guys physically at the stadium,
we will always be behind you in spirit!
Oh and i placed a bet of 5 dollars on the game ending 1-0 in Singapore's favour
and if it stays this way i will get a turnout of 5 times 8 = 40 dollars!!!!
Which can buy me 40 divided by 2.5 = 16 roses?
Plus another 5 dollars on 2-1 in Singapore's favor just in case...
Lol i don't know the odds, my friend never tell me.
LOL whatever.
As the old saying goes, don't count your roses before they grow!
Ahahaha i learnt something today ( LOL not just schoolwork lar)
No, actually 2 things.
1) Be positive and confident in all your affairs!
It doesn't hurt to do that! And it reaps great rewards!
2) Sometimes little siblings can be a pain in the neck.
But they are your siblings after all.
Spread the seeds of laughter throughout the world!!!!!!

I was helping my sister for her project when i came upon this song. It struck me as a touching and sad song. Here's a little introduction. Oh, and this song was written somewhere around the 1870's.
My Grandfather's Clock
by Henry Clay Work
In Piercebridge, England in Palatinate County of Durham, home of the Prince-Bishops, there was an old hotel called the George Hotel. The place was a rest stop for weary travelers and was run by two brothers, last name of Jenkins. In the lobby of the hotel was an old upright clock. The clock always kept perfect time until one of the old Jenkins brothers died. Gradually the clock started losing time, first a minute or so every few days, then a minute a day, then several minutes a day. Clockmakers were called in to repair the clock, but no matter what their level of expertise, it seemed nothing could be done. One day shortly after the second old man Jenkins passed away in his ninetieth year, the old clock quit running completely. It never ran again. Attempts to fix the clock by the new owner of the George Hotel failed. But the clock, having become somewhat of a mysterious landmark in the hotel, was left to stand in the corner of the lobby - dusted and polished, but silent.
Sometime during the 1870's, a man, a songwriter from the States came to stay at the George Hotel. He was told the story of the Jenkins brothers and the old clock. He was Henry Clay Work. It inspired him. When he got back to the States he wrote a tune about the clock and its story, but to personalize the lyrics somewhat he decided to write about one old man and visualized that old man as his own grandfather. The tune was named "My Grandfather's Clock."
Here are the lyrics.
Written By: Henry Clay

My grandfather's clock
Was too large for the shelf,
So it stood ninety years on the floor;
It was taller by half
Than the old man himself,
Though it weighed not a pennyweight more.
It was bought on the morn
Of the day that he was born,
And was always his treasure and pride;
But it stopped short
Never to go again,
When the old man died.
Ninety years without slumbering,
Tick, tock, tick, tock,
His life seconds numbering,
Tick, tock, tick, tock,
It stopped short
Never to go again,
When the old man died.
In watching its pendulum
Swing to and fro,
Many hours had he spent while a boy;
And in childhood and manhood
The clock seemed to know,
And to share both his grief and his joy.
For it struck twenty-four
When he entered at the door,
With a blooming and beautiful bride;
But it stopped short
Never to go again,
When the old man died.
Ninety years without slumbering,
Tick, tock, tick, tock,
His life seconds numbering,
Tick, tock, tick, tock,
It stopped short
Never to go again,
When the old man died.

.............
I loathe swearing.
I hate cursing.
Nothing makes me more pissed off other than people swearing.
I may smile and grin like it's one whole big joke.
But do it too many times.
.............
I don't even want to know what i will do.
So don't make me do it.
I just want to remain smiling.

Sudden spurt of random poems LOL
Wat the poem
My girlfriend dumped me
She hates my shoes
Now i'm stuck at home
With bad shoes girl blues!
Loiter around the corridor
My heart broken in two
Stepped into Literature class
WAT THE? CHIO BU!
She turned around and looked at me
A question on her lips
I helped her with the answer
Cuz i dig her sexy hips!
Met again at recess
I nearly went insane
Cuz the only part of me that
didn't quiver was my brain!
LOL some days i feel like one big hormone ahahahaha...

Today was the day it rained while the sun was still shining bright...
Fridays, a day of imminent CCA trainings.
Today seemed no different though (grins).
I cannot believe i slept in Maths class today again!
Do'h! I must hasten to stop this terrible habit soon.
One thing about nodding off in classes is that when you wake up you feel really refreshed.
What will Mr Wong thinking of me, nodding like that?
I woke up earlier than my usual nodding off though, my blurry vision...
Nah, i must have been seeing things...
Chemistry lesson, redox test. I am proud to say that i'm fairly confident of getting at least 10
out of the possible 15 (laughs). The last question was a killer though, left it blank. I am
determined not to drop my chemistry, no never! It is the pathway to my ambition!
My stepping stone to success!
English lesson. Speech Topic.
" Why being a cockroach is better than being a human."
. . . . . .
(laughs) amusing.
Gave a speech to Sing Ee, my speech partner.
(grins) And Louis and Terence went up to gave their speeches!
(LAUGHS) AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
"They will all fly to the sun!"
" Then they will all die!"
(ahahahahahaha...)
After school 4/4 boys played a little bit of soccer inside the class.
Seems that Sing Ee is a living magnet for loose balls (laughs)
And Terence is a Kan jiong spider (grins)
Oh and i forgot to hand up my English homework.
Greeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttt.
NCC training.
Two words.
TU XUE!!!!!!!!!!!!
*vomit blood in chinese*
The new Sec 1s have AP, most of them.
In case anybody doesn't know, AP means Attitude Problem.
My, my, do we have a lot to teach them...
But today is the 1st training, so we just have to grin and bear it (grimace)
And i'm quite happy with a few of the Sec 1s' comments to each other,
when they though no Sec 4s were around.
They said that i was a fierce looking Specialist that could talk the walk.
I'm quite satisfied, that's what i'm supposed to do, as a Discipline Sgt.
I just hope that they can be more self-disciplined, that's all.
Aggrrhh. In No.4 uniform i'm another person, in school uniform i'm yet another,
outside i'm yet another... Ahahaha, nevermind, i prefer my outdoor one, though the No.4 me
seemed to have grown a lot more mature and my outdoor one is beginning to seep into my school one... Now, i only wish for Louis's plan to succeed.
LOUIS'S PLAN
-To Sculpt NCC Cadets into Proper Gentlemen
1. No Vulgar
2. Be Polite
3. Be gentlemen
4. No no no no no Back Stabbing
5. Respect for one another
I and a few others are part of this plan to mould the NCC cadets into
outstanding loyal citizens of the future. May we succeed and it last.

Today's topic is on the use of standard English in our blogs and phone text messages.
Well to be truthful, i don't really use standard English in my text messages and in this blog here.
In text messages, however, i feel that lingo is neccesary as this way there's:
1) Convinience
2) Extra Space
3) Money $$$
In every text message you send there's a limit of 160 words before you exceed into the second
text message. Also, by using lingo you can shorten the time spent on typing. Besides, you save money too.
When i got my first phone ( I'm still using it now), somewhere back in Sec 2, I had promised myself that i would always try my best to use standard English in my messages. For the first few weeks i did. Then i fell into the bottomless spiralling pit of "LOL SRY IM L8" and " He CMI lah, i cr8 better" and other phrases. Out of neccessity, purely.
(laughs) well, i just have to try my best in posting here in standard English then.
